Welding:
Perform high-quality, manual Mig (GMAW) welding on pipe and pipe assemblies;
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interprets, technical drawings and welding procedures to determine pipe specifications, angles, and welding requirements;
Quality Control:
Perform visual inspections of welds for defects (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion) and use tools such as gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards;
Material Preparation:
Bevel, clean and fit-up pipes, ensuring accurate alignment and proper root openings before tacking and welding;
Equipment Set up & Maintenance:
Must be able to set up and adjust the Mig welding parameters and maintain tools such as grinders, torches and welding guns Safety
