Production Steel Pipe Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 01:30pm)

• Responsibilities Welding:
  Perform high-quality, manual Mig (GMAW) welding on pipe and pipe assemblies.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
  Read and interprets technical drawings and welding procedures to determine pipe specifications, angles, and welding requirements.
• Quality Control:
  Perform visual inspections of welds for defects (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion) and use tools such as gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Material Preparation:
  Bevel, clean and fit-up pipes, ensuring accurate alignment and proper root openings before tacking and welding.
• Equipment Set up & Maintenance:
  Must be able to set up and adjust the Mig welding parameters and maintain tools such as grinders, torches and welding guns Safety

Production Steel Pipe Welder

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in welding and fitting

• Technical certification in welding or metal fabrication

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques

• Strong blueprint interpretation skills

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication

• Knowledge of safety procedures and attention to detail

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
