• Good mathematical and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Ability to use testing and troubleshooting equipment
• Good understanding of rigging, cranes, etc.
• General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading, dimension drawings, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet customer requirements
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• General knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting
• General mechanical knowledge

Some of the physical demands for the position include being able to lift a weight of 40 pounds; frequent bending, stooping and stretching; being able to stand for prolonged periods of time; and ability to walk for prolonged periods of time.

High School Diploma or GED required; 2‑year degree from a technical college and minimum of three years on‑the‑job training with a heavy industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity.

General knowledge of industrial maintenance with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical, robotics, or controls application.

Journeyman Certification preferred.

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Motor Control, PLC and Ladder Logic
• Basic Electrical Theory and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of electrical components
• Basic understanding of services and variable frequency drives
• Welding experience
• Applicable rules, regulations, and/or policies and procedures
• Robotic troubleshooting skills
• Robotic programming skills
• PLC troubleshooting skills
• High level of mechanical aptitude
• Mathematical Skills (work well with probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions to practical situations)
• Reasoning Ability (define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions, interpret technical instructions, deal with variables)
