This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS- Keep the Revos or Formaxes full.
- Rotate v-mag carts.
- Keep pre-duster, batter and breader full of ingredients.
- Operator must provide group-leader with batch management information for the batters/breaders when starting a new pallet.
- Fills in for the Line Operator.
- Helps set-up, breakdown, and washes equipment and area when necessary.
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
- Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math functions and skills.
- Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stand up to 8 hours.
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Exposure to wet and dusty environment.
- Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling and crawling.
- Work around raw, live animal odors.
