RN Supervisor - Registered Nurse - Main Operating Room

Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)

Organizes and administers nursing service in the assigned specialty area by assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care. Functions in a staff role as needed. Assumes managerial duties as delegated by the OR Manager. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in all aspects of the position. Responsible for the orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the Resource Coordinator and the OR Nurse Clinician.

• Education:
  
  One to three years technical school or college required in Nursing
• Preferred Education:
  
  BSN
• Licensure:
  Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Prefer at least one year Operating Room RN experience and proven leadership skills
• Certifications:
  
  CPR required
• Preferred
  
  Certifications:
  
  CNOR preferred
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
