Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program:

Required Skills/

Experience:

• Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BP
• Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital
• IV insertion and care, central line management
• Wound care and post op monitoring
• Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Discharge planning and patient education, particularly on renal and fluid management

Required Credentials:

• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) required (EKG Rhythm exam as part of Onboarding)
• Preferred Credentials:
  National certification
  - Medical-Surgical certification

Unit/Facility Details: Parking:
Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts
• Holiday Requirements:
  Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• Floating Requirements:
  All adult med surg / telemetry units in house
• 14 days maximum time off
• 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
• 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
• Proof of identification required

JW - - A Registered Nurse (RN) needed in a Medical Surgical Telemetry (M/S Tele) setting. Job Type: Travel Contract.

Shift: Days, 36hr Week (3x12).

Location:

Macon, GA. Requirements:
Must have 2yrs M/S Tele experience during the past 3yrs. Updated resume, Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS - AHA or Red Cross) preferred, current drivers license (DL), and an active Georgia or Compact RN license. Benefits:
