Southern Health Partners is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Morgan County Jail. This is an opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care in a structured environment while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

What You’ll Do Provide direct nursing care to patients within the facility Administer medications and treatments as ordered Complete assessments, documentation, and nursing interventions Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical records Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs Follow facility security procedures and correctional healthcare protocols Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate patient care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama Current CPR certification

Previous nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
