As a Nurse Navigator at Decatur Morgan Hospital, youll help patients and their families find their way through the cancer journey. Youll provide education, answer questions, coordinate services, connect patients with resources and help remove barriers that can make an already difficult experience even harder.
But this role is about more than coordination. Its about relationships.
Youll get to know your patients. Youll understand what matters to them. Youll celebrate good news with them and provide reassurance during difficult moments. And youll work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to help make an incredibly complex healthcare experience feel more connected and personal.
Were looking for an RN with excellent communication and organizational skills, but were also looking for something thats harder to put on a rsum: the ability to make people feel heard, supported and cared for.
