Quality Technician II

About the job

• Performs Physical inspection of bulk containers and disposition labeling.
• Maintains Manufacturer Certificate of analysis document files.
• Determines test requirement of bulk, reviews test results, and completes applicable test sample documentation.
• Performs bulk sampling, including staging.
• Reviews Manufacturer Certificate of Analysis against applicable compendia monograph and associated receiving documents for accuracy.
• Performs inspections, tests, and disposition of container/Closure repack components.
• Reviews labels for accuracy and approval.
• Creates, reviews, and approved Certificates of Analysis.
• Assists with inspection and disposition of item returns.
• Performs initial investigations for customer and supplier complaints as assigned and internal quality investigations as required.
• Trains and mentors junior quality technicians.
• Conducts inhouse identification testing (Including method validation documenting) utilizing raw material analyzer.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of (2) years previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• May require standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 50 pounds.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Utilize critical thinking skills/tools such as root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
