Quality Assurance - QA/QC
Turner Specialty Services is looking for an experienced API 510/570/653 Inspector for a full-time position in the Decatur, AL area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role;
Reports to Site Manager;
Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
- Valid NDE certifications and relevant experience
- NDE background preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
- Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
- Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
- Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards
- Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical InvolvementEmployee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movement of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, etc.;
