Pharmaceutical Sales Territory Representative – Primary Care (Entry Level – Specialty)

We are seeking a proactive, patient‑focused sales professional to join our team in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to physicians and other healthcare providers. In this role you will manage a territory, maintain relationships with existing physician groups and clinics, and work closely with management to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision makers in large accounts.
  • Develop and implement a territory plan, including goals, resource allocation, sampling, grant/education proposals, and coverage.
  • Achieve formulary acceptance and compliance with managed care accounts.
  • Understand scientific research and clinical papers to provide consultative support.
  • Partner with customers as a business advocate, proactively identifying potential opportunities and maintaining trend knowledge.
  • Use consultative skills to assist customers with their business needs.
  • Sell vertical products and meet sales targets.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Some sales experience and/or relevant abilities.
  • Consultative selling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely and use Zoom.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong targeting skills for health professionals to maximize sales growth.
  • Effective selling and product knowledge to influence prescriber behavior.
  • Analytical skills to optimize routing and achieve sales results.
  • Utilization of sales tools, resources, and supporting analysis to plan activity.
  • Development and execution of plans to maximize selling resources.
  • Pre‑call planning to match healthcare professionals’ needs.
  • Data‑driven approach to build discussions around patient and professional needs.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstration of high ethical and professional standards.
