Outside Sales Representative

Role Description

The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Harvest, AL. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and promoting equipment rental solutions to commercial and industrial customers. Daily activities include visiting customer job sites, conducting in-person sales presentations, identifying opportunities for additional services, and following up on leads. The Outside Sales Representative will build strong relationships with customers, provide responsive customer service, and coordinate with branch operations to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery.

The role also includes preparing quotes, negotiating pricing within guidelines, tracking sales activities in CRM tools, and meeting assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Sales Presentations and Communication to clearly demonstrate value and negotiate solutions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Relationship Building and Customer Service to create trust, retain accounts, and support long-term partnerships.
• Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development to prospect, qualify leads, and expand the customer base.
• Relevant experience in outside sales, equipment rental, construction, or industrial services is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage a sales territory, and use CRM or sales tracking tools effectively.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel locally to customer sites on a regular basis.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
