Job Summary

Serve as a Teaching Specialist in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The appointment may be full or part‑time (25% to 100%) and will be on‑site in Madison, Wisconsin.

• Participate in labs and discussion sections.

• Chem 344, Introductory Organic Chemistry Laboratory – 1 section

• Chem 346, Intermediate Organic Chemistry Laboratory – 1 section

• Advanced college chemistry coursework completed.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.

• Experience teaching chemistry at the college level.

For a 100% appointment the salary for a 9‑month academic year is $50,000. The salary for part‑time appointments will be prorated according to appointment duration and percentage.

This position does not qualify for work‑authorization sponsorship. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or foreign national authorized to work without employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date.
