This is a full-time traveling role for a Field Service Security Technician. The position is based in Decatur, AL.The Field Service Security Technician will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems such as detention locks, doors, intercom systems, and other related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting system issues, assessing equipment efficiency and functionality, preventative maintenance, repairs and collaborating with teams to ensure the effective, secure operations of facilities.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical and repairing mechanical issues.
- Experience with detention locks and other security systems is highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to obtain security clerance, pass a drug test and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to local and regional facilities is required
- Ability to read schematics and facility floor plans
. Welding and low voltage electrical is a plus.
