Description

We are seeking a Service Plumber to handle a range of residential plumbing tasks. You will troubleshoot, install, and repair plumbing systems, diagnose issues, execute repairs, and ensure all work meets high‑quality standards and local codes. Strong problem‑solving skills and effective communication with homeowners are essential for success.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Diagnosing problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment
  • Determining whether repairs or replacements are needed for customers
  • Installing and assembling plumbing systems and equipment, including valves, pipe fittings, and pipes
  • Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, pipes, fittings, and components
  • Testing for leaks using compressed air and/or water to ensure functionality and safety
  • Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains
  • Managing the inventory of plumbing supplies in the vehicle, including checking stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts
  • Keeping equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures
  • Maintaining safety equipment
  • Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Master Plumbing license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications
  • Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and sewage systems
  • Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations
  • Experience with tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools
  • Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and supervisors
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
  • Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and satisfaction
  • Basic knowledge of mobile apps and work management software for task tracking and reporting
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to mentor apprentices and coordinate with other trades
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency calls

Physical Requirements of This Job Include
  • Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear in person and by telephone
