Maintenance Technician

About the job

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and provide timely solutions.

• Light grounds maintenance as required.

• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.
• Provide recommendations for equipment updates and improvements.
• May require working outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends to address urgent maintenance concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
