You walk homeowners through the plan, lead the install with precision, mentor your helper, and wrap up with a spotless worksite and a satisfied customer.

The Role at a Glance As the lead on residential HVAC installations, you’ll direct the full lifecycle of system installs, upgrades, and replacements. You’ll handle the complex work yourself, ensure every step aligns with code and safety standards, and set the tone for excellent customer communication and team development.

What You’ll DoLead residential HVAC system installations, upgrades, and change-outs with exacting quality and efficiency.

Cut, thread, and connect copper or PVC; handle both high- and low-voltage wiring confidently.

Coach and develop Install Helpers in the field and in the shop to build their skills and independence.

Deliver top-tier customer service, clearly explaining work and resolving questions or concerns.

Lift, bend, carry, and move equipment and materials, including items over 50 pounds.

Keep parts, tools, and your vehicle organized, clean, and inventory-ready.

Work safely at heights and in tight areas (like attics) through heat, cold, and other weather conditions.

Adhere to appliance standards, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and internal service protocols.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring At least 1 year of experience leading HVAC installations in residential settings.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

EPA certification and full compliance with environmental regulations.

Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking to resolve complex HVAC challenges.

A proactive, enthusiastic approach and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Customer-first mindset with strong communication skills.

Physical Realities of the Job Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Climb ladders; access attics; navigate crawlspaces and other tight areas; push, pull, carry, and use hand tools for fine detail work.

Drive to and between job sites.

Work indoors and outdoors, including attics and crawlspaces.

Stand, walk, sit, and communicate in person and by phone.

Use hands to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms.

Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
