Maintenance Tech Level 2

International Paper - 151 Ipsco St - Responsibilities:
Follow safety work procedures and safe work practices at all times;
Perform facility/safety preventive maintenance;
Assist other maintenance personnel with predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and installation in a high-volume, continuous-run environment;
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs and installations as needed;
Maintain clean and organized work areas and support clean-up as part of tasks;
Set up and operate tools (hand and power) used in repair, fabrication, lubrication, and cleaning;
Ensure maintenance shop equipment and facility are maintained at peak performance to enable production;
Attend meetings, participate in problem solving, and complete assigned training; follow JSAs/SOPs and supervisor directions;
Record repairs, parts movement, and time electronically;
Work in conditions requiring bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 100 pounds as needed;
Be willing to work all shifts and weekends as required by business needs;
Work independently and as part of a team; cross-train and help set team/department goals;
Maintain safety mindset and comply with company safety culture
