Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before downtime occurs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Replace or repair motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other components.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
