Excellent opportunity for a tax accountant in public accounting. The position will develop and work on a wide variety of tax projects under the supervision of tax professionals by performing the following duties:

• Preparation of basic and intermediate individual tax returns
• Researches fundamental tax issues using online tools
• Possesses a basic understanding of book/tax differences
• Preparation of federal corporate (C and S) and basic partnership returns
• Preparation of tax depreciation schedules including proper classification of assets
• Preparation of property, payroll, and sales tax returns as needed
• Performs other essential duties as needed

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with outside contacts.
• Should be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills and possess the ability to prioritize.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of tax preparation experience preferred
• Proficient in computer skills, including Quick Books and Microsoft Office
