Job Title: Physician – Breast Radiologist

Location: Atlanta VA Medical Center – Decatur, GA

Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Pay Rate: $280/hr

The Atlanta VA Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist to provide onsite breast imaging services in Decatur, GA. This is a stable, full-time opportunity offering a predictable weekday schedule with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.

  7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Federal holidays off

• $280 per hour
• 2,080 hours annually
• Annual equivalent: $582,400
• Malpractice coverage provided

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies
• Read and interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI
• Perform image-guided breast biopsies
• Provide consultation to referring providers
• Document findings within the VA electronic health record system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities

• Board Certified in Radiology
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
• MQSA qualified
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Ability to obtain VA privileges
