The After-school Site Lead is responsible for managing and supervising the after-school program and its activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily schedules, overseeing staff, communicating with families, and facilitating educational and recreational activities. This part-time, on-site role is based in Decatur, GA.
Qualifications- Experience in child supervision, program management, and creating engaging educational activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Organizational and time‑management skills for coordinating schedules and ensuring program success
- Knowledge of child development, social‑emotional learning, and classroom management techniques
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Previous experience in after-school programs, early education, or youth-focused roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Childhood Development, or a related field is a plus, though not required
