Paraprofessional Position
Requirements:
Must be willing and able to lift, position, toilet, physically restrain students at a danger to self or others; implement lessons and collect data under the direction of a licensed teacher. Must be licensed as a paraprofessional in the state of Illinois. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Position is itinerant and this person can be assigned to various schools in Decatur and surrounding school districts.
Mileage reimbursement is provided between schools. Position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Contract and benefits information are outlined in the contract.
