Branch Manager

At Northpointe Bank, we believe your career should empower you — to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact. We’re hiring a Producing Branch Manager to lead and grow a Mortgage Loan Production Team in Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on mortgage leadership role — ideal for a proven producer who is passionate about originating loans, recruiting and developing Loan Officers, and building a profitable, compliant mortgage operation. This is not a retail banking role; it is a sales-driven residential lending position.

Compensation Structure:

Loan Officers are compensated with a monthly recoverable draw and earn commission based on basis points (bps) for closed and funded loan volume. This structure provides income consistency while rewarding strong production performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, grow, and manage a profitable and compliant Mortgage Loan Production Team.
• Personally originate and close residential mortgage loans in accordance with established guidelines
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a team of Loan Officers and support staff
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners in the Metro Atlanta market and surrounding areas
• Educate the local real estate community on Northpointe Bank’s mortgage products and value proposition
• Set sales goals and drive performance across the branch, balancing personal production with team success
• Partner with marketing and business development to execute branch growth strategies
• Monitor market conditions and adjust sales strategies to maintain competitiveness
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable mortgage regulations
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for branch staff
• Participate in leadership initiatives and contribute to overall mortgage sales strategy

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of residential mortgage lending experience
• Proven track record of personal mortgage production
• Experience recruiting, developing, and leading producing Loan Officers
• Strong sales leadership and business development skills
• Deep knowledge of residential mortgage products and the competitive lending landscape
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching abilities
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and mortgage lending systems
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be located in — or willing to work within — the Metro Atlanta area
