Lead Pressman

We’re seeking a skilled Lead Pressman to support an in-house flexographic printing operation. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced pressman who can independently run, set up, and troubleshoot flexo presses while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.

The Lead Pressman will be relied on for technical expertise on press, ownership of print quality, and helping stabilize and improve day‑to‑day production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, is respected on the floor, and has interest in long‑term growth into broader leadership.

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Perform make‑ready, plate mounting, registration, ink mixing, and color control
• Troubleshoot print, mechanical, and quality issues in real time
• Maintain press performance, minimize downtime, and reduce waste
• Ensure consistent print quality across labels and packaging components
• Support process improvements and standard work on press
• Assist with training or mentoring operators as needed
• Strong experience running flexographic presses independently
• Proven setup and troubleshooting capability (not just run‑time operation)
• Experience with narrow‑web or packaging/label flexo preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Prior lead, senior operator, or informal leadership experience a plus
