Job Overview
As a Sanitation Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your focus will be on keeping clean and compliant warehouses and office areas, while ensuring proper chemical usage and adherence to sanitation practices. Your work helps us maintain the highest standards for food safety and quality, ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers remain safe.
Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and offices.
- Ensure that all scheduled sanitation duties are completed correctly and on time following the master sanitation schedule.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used, labeled, and stored correctly in compliance with Safety Data Sheets.
- Maintain the safety, quality, and legality of food products.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull forces up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated and freezer environment ranging from 0–36 °F.
- Able to work in a cold environment for an extended period; steel‑toe shoes are required.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and reach/bend as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience.
- Previous food‑grade warehouse sanitation/janitorial experience.
- Fast‑paced, engaging work throughout the shift.
