We are seeking an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of highly experienced, board-certified neonatologists and NNPs at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Emory Decatur Hospital.
Piedmont Eastside Medical Center, Level III NICU (Snellville, GA)- Our unit is an 18 Bed Level-III NICU that cares for over 200 premature babies annually.
- NNPs work in-house 24/7. Responsibilities will include providing medical management of critically ill neonates and Newborn Nursery care.
- Eastside Medical Center, a Piedmont facility, is a rapidly growing OB service line with over 1,000 deliveries a year.
- The OB nursing team at Eastside has many years of practical, as well as in-service education, that maintains and updates their knowledge on mother/baby care.
- Eastside is a 310-bed multi-campus system, that offers comprehensive medical and surgical programs, including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric and 24 hour emergency care.
- Our practice is a 42-bed, Level-III NICU with an ADC of 27.
- NNPs provide 24/hour in-house coverage.
- Sub-specialty coverage is available.
- NICU support services include neonatal respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapies and audiology services.
- In addition to the prestigious “Baby-Friendly” designation, Dekalb Medical Center (now Emory Decatur Hospital) was also awarded a 5-STAR Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2015.
