Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in an emergency department setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required
- Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
- Returning employees must have a one-year separation from the health system or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Time off requests not on or near a holiday are limited to 5 days; if falling on or near a holiday, maximum is 3 days
- Only one holiday request is allowed during the contract
- Multiple days of time off during the holidays will not be approved unless spread out
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of ER nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
