Gly Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our hospital-based inpatient diabetes and glycemic management team at Emory Decatur Hospital

This is a unique opportunity to practice in a specialized inpatient consultative role focused exclusively on diabetes and glycemic management for adult hospitalized patients on Med-Surg and Step-Down units (non-ICU).

Providers practice within a highly collaborative, protocol-driven model with endocrinology support, structured onboarding, and extensive specialty training.

Enjoy a flexible hospital-based schedule averaging approximately 12 shifts per month. This role offers significantly more non-working days than traditional Monday–Friday provider positions while allowing you to practice in a highly specialized inpatient setting.

• Daytime hospital-based rounding only
• Minimal phone-only after-hours call responsibility (~4 call days/month, assigned only on scheduled workdays, with call frequency expected to decrease further as additional sites and providers are onboarded)
• No ICU management
• No procedures
• No controlled substance prescribing
• Structured inpatient diabetes training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support provided
• Collaborative inpatient consultative practice model

Openings for the following schedules:

• Monday and Tuesday + every other weekend
• Thursday and Friday + alternating weekends

• Base Compensation: $84,000 - $93,750
• $3,000 sign-on bonus available for candidates with: prior inpatient hospitalist experience (with or without diabetes experience), or outpatient NP diabetes management experience, or new graduates with diabetes-focused clinical rotations

• Provide inpatient diabetes and glycemic management consultations
• Manage adult non-ICU hospitalized patients
• Adjust insulin and diabetes therapies using evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, nursing, pharmacy and acute care teams
• Document directly within the hospital EMR
• Participate in a collaborative consultative inpatient care model

• Active, unrestricted GA NP or PA license
• NP certification as FNP, AGNP, or ACNP, or PA-C certification
• Inpatient clinical experience preferred
• EMR proficiency required
• Experienced inpatient APPs encouraged to apply
• New graduates with strong inpatient clinical training are also encouraged to apply
• DEA not required
• Minimum one-year commitment preferred
