Explore Decatur, GAJust east of Atlanta, Decatur, GA keeps its own walkable identity, organized around a historic downtown square that hosts festivals, restaurants, and one of the region's best-known literary scenes. For travel nurses, the location works as a launch point into the Atlanta market's hospital network, with contracts reaching downtown, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven. The MARTA line through Decatur is the practical advantage;
rail access spares travelers the metro's notorious traffic for many commutes — a rarity in this region. Intensive care and emergency assignments dominate the area's demand. The rents in Decatur proper run higher than the suburbs farther out, the price of walkability, though many RNs find the square's evening scene worth the difference.
At Advantis Medical Staffing, we take great pride in our commitment to caring for travel nurses. We are dedicated to connecting nurses with the best travel nursing jobs nationwide, while providing exceptional service that fosters a trusted partnership for life.
