Position: Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP)

Join Norwood Pediatrics in Atlanta/East Point, GA to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families! We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner to join our growing pediatric practice.

At Norwood Pediatrics, we believe great pediatric care starts with relationships. Our team partners with parents and caregivers to support children through every stage of development. You will work collaboratively with an experienced pediatric healthcare team. Your clinical expertise is valued in our community-focused environment. As a smaller practice you will be lucky enough to build meaningful, long-term relationships with children and families as you help them navigate everything from newborn care and developmental milestones to acute illness and adolescent health.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary and preventive care, including:

  • Well-child and acute sick exams from infancy through adolescence.
  • Growth and developmental assessments.
  • Diagnosis and management of common pediatric acute and chronic conditions.
  • Nutrition, sleep, safety, behavioral, and wellness counseling.
  • Parent and caregiver education.
  • Medication management and treatment planning.
  • Appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Coordination of specialty referrals and follow-up care.
  • Accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation.
  • Collaboration with other clinicians and staff to ensure continuity of care.

You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Georgia Nurse Practitioner license.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred:

  • Pediatric primary care experience.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
