As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong communication and customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, restricted spaces, and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor procedures, and/or delivery activity while supporting a professional environment within a healthcare location.

+ Assist with de-escalation, medical-related emergency notifications, and coordination with site leadership and/or first responders when situations require additional support.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
