Job Title:
Payroll Specialist (US and Canadian payroll processing)

Duration: 08 months contract (Potential to Extend)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Payroll Specialist supporting Client Corporate Payroll team in a fast‑paced, customer‑service‑driven environment.
• Responsible for processing US and Canadian payroll while maintaining accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
• Interacts with employees, management, and cross‑functional teams across the organization.
• No Gatefeed Training Required.

• Intermediate understanding of accounting/mathematical procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to make quick/calculated decisions.

• US and Canadian payroll processing knowledge.
• Payroll reconciliation.
• Problem‑solving and error remediation.
• Compliance and confidential data management.
• Process documentation / SOP creation.
• Employee support and payroll guidance.
• Cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strategic thinking.
• Ability to identify discrepancies.
• IBM (CICS & IMS) systems knowledge.
• MDM systems knowledge.
• General office/accounting experience.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
