Job Title: DOT Compliance Administrator
Reports To
: DOT Supervisor

This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Manage onboarding for new hires, including Clearinghouse submissions, clinic authorizations, and verification of all required DQF documentation.
- Input and maintain DOT compliance data within company systems.
- Submit new hire information to our Third-Party Administrator for processing of Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) and Criminal Background Checks (CBC).
- Prepare and review monthly reports on expired credentials and FMCSA compliance dashboards.
- Oversee roadside inspection documentation and ensure compliance.
- Remove unqualified drivers from driving status and update records in our software systems.
- Monitor BASE communications (post-accident emails and calls) on a rotational basis during and after business hours.
- Organize and archive accident-related communications on company drives for reference.
- Complete employment verifications in a timely manner.
- Coordinate SAP follow-up testing when notified by our Third-Party Administrator.
- Process terminations for our Third-Party Administrator on a monthly basis.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Ability to research and analyze various types of data.
- Must be able to make recommendations and effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, and law.
- Self-starter with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
