Restoration Division Manager/Operations Manager

The primary purpose of this position is to provide carpet and upholstery cleaning on location for residential and commercial customers and support other divisions such as water restoration as needed.

The technician will provide carpet and upholstery cleaning on location for residential and commercial customers, and support other divisions such as water restoration as needed.

• Service on-location cleaning appointments (residential and commercial)
• Carpet cleaning
• Upholstery cleaning
• Area rug cleaning
• Tile & grout cleaning
• Respond to customer concerns (e.g., “RE-DOs”)
• Perform in-plant cleaning when necessary (rugs and upholstery)
• Master purpose and use of all equipment and materials
• Maintain working condition of all equipment and materials
• Take daily inventory on truck
• Replenish truck needs from warehouse
• Take weekly inventory at warehouse
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicle as needed (maintain clean vehicle)
• Have vehicle serviced according to schedule
• Collect payment from customers
• Turn in report of daily numbers
• Upsell protection products, upholstery cleaning and air duct cleaning
• Perform emergency service work (water restoration division) as needed. Required to be part of the On-Call Schedule at least once a month
• Assist in new technician training
• Adhere to all state wage & hour laws (e.g., required 20 minute lunch break during 7.5 hr workday)
• Perform miscellaneous duties assigned by division management

• Valid Illinois Driver’s license
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 tickets per year and no DUI’s
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to twist, stand, climb, push, pull and tolerate heights
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to stand for extended lengths of time and tolerate extreme temperature differences
• Able to pass a DOT physical and respirator with no restrictions
• Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals
