Our mission is to make reliable healthcare solutions more accessible, and we’re seeking a Senior Package Designer to help elevate our packaging design presence, product usability, and regulatory-compliant packaging solutions in partnership with the Creative Director.
Position Summary
As Senior Package Designer, you will be the hands-on packaging design & production subject matter expert for Easy Healthcare, reporting to the Creative Director. You will lead the execution of packaging initiatives across the portfolio, delivering brand and product strategy through packaging into innovative, functional, and regulatory-compliant packaging solutions.
This role owns day-to-day packaging design, development & production, ensuring brand cohesion, technical expertise, and cost optimization across multiple product lines. You will partner closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams—including Product, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations—while managing vendors, timelines, and budgets. The role also supports and helps mentor junior designers. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and thrives at the forefront of industry evolution.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Ownership
:
Partner with the Creative Director to support and evolve Easy Healthcare’s packaging design strategy across product lines. - Design Leadership
:
Conceptualize, design, and deliver packaging systems (primary, secondary, tertiary) artwork that balance branding, compliance, cost, sustainability, and user experience. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
:
Partner with Product Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure packaging aligns with technical, compliance, and market needs. - Vendor & Production Management
:
Lead day-to-day communication with external vendors, printers, and packaging manufacturers; ensure fidelity in material selection, finishes, and color accuracy. - Compliance & Quality
:
Oversee packaging regulatory labeling, compliance, and QA review for international markets where applicable. - Innovation & Optimization
:
Introduce new materials, processes, and sustainable practices to improve cost, efficiency, and environmental impact. - User Experience
:
Incorporate research and customer feedback into packaging design to improve clarity, usability, and unboxing experience. - Project Management
:
Manage multiple concurrent packaging projects, establish timelines, and on-time ensure delivery within budget.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field;
Master’s preferred. - 7–10+ years of professional packaging design and production experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, or consumer packaged goods.
- Demonstrated track record of managing full packaging lifecycle from concept to production.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D rendering/mockup tools.
- Deep understanding of printing techniques, materials, structural design, coatings, embossing, sustainability practices.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with ability to provide feedback and build team capabilities.
- Strong business acumen, able to balance design vision with cost and operational constraints.
- Knowledge of FDA, CE, ISO, and other relevant packaging regulations for medical/diagnostic products.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience leading packaging for products with global distribution.
- Familiarity with supply chain and vendor negotiation.
