We’re partnering with a school district in Will County, Illinois to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a high school co-teaching position.
This full-time, in-person role supports high school students in a co-teaching setting, helping them succeed academically, socially, and developmentally.
Responsibilities- Location: In-person, Will County, IL
- Setting: High School – Co-Teach
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–2:25 PM
- Duration: January 2026 – May 2026
- Co-teach high school courses alongside general education teachers
- Implement and support IEP goals and individualized learning plans
- Provide academic, social, and functional support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience working with high school students in co-teach or special education settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
