TITLE:
Certified Secondary Teacher.
- Illinois State certificate for secondary level teaching.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of the school staff.
- Other requirements as established by the Board.

Secondary Building Principal. - Supervises:
Students, Student Teachers, Volunteers; assists Principal with evaluation of Teaching Assistants. - Maintains liaison with:
Parents.
To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women.
Performance ResponsibilitiesSalary is based on Schedules A & B of the collective negotiated Agreement.
EvaluationEmployees with continuing contractual service are evaluated at least once every two years. Employees not in continuing contractual service are evaluated once every year.
Physical DemandsWork involves interacting with people and objects in a general setting. Requires depth perception, field of vision, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking and standing approximately 50‑75% of each shift. Must distinguish sound differences and differentiate tones and volumes in conversation.
Mental DemandsThe teacher must ensure continuous supervision of children and be prepared to handle multiple concurrent situations, including accidents and emergencies at any time.
Work EnvironmentThe teacher will work in a busy and occasionally noisy environment with multiple activities occurring simultaneously, requiring constant supervision of all students.
