Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 812,000 natural gas customers in more than 1,200 communities in central and southern Illinois.

• Create and edit substation and transmission line drawings
• Produce and revise drawings with AutoCAD or other related CAD tools
• Create, revise, and maintain detailed electrical drawings, including substation layouts, transmission and distribution plans, system protection schematics, wiring diagrams, survey maps, structural details, and equipment drawings associated with utility infrastructure
• Apply and maintain company drafting standards
• Convert engineering sketches, field notes, and markups into accurate CAD drawings
• Collaborate with engineers and field personnel to collect technical information needed for accurate drawings and incorporate red/green markups and field revisions into proper documentation
• Other support duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of any two (2) of the following high school or college math classes with a grade of C or better:
  Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry. Transcript required prior to interview. Please be prepared to disclose your transcripts.
• Must have two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience.
