JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• The main function of a manufacturing engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production. A typical manufacturing engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modeling / Autocad / Creo / Teamcenter
• Layout and process creation

• Generate 3D models and 2D general arrangements using Autocad/Creo

• Develop Systematic Layout Planning concepts to Improve material Flow & reduce waste

• Systematic layout planning, production planning & control

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-2 years of work experience, will consider no work experience with relevant internships

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Experience in CAD software and good knowledge of 3D scanning and modeling tools

The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 83,000 USD per year (Decatur, IL )
