Electrical Engineer

This role directly supports the Client Electrical Install team for Large Mining trucks. In this role you will gain valuable experience in collaborating with a highly-performing electrical installation team. End-to-end ownership:
From concept to production, be involved in every stage of the design lifecycle.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Partner with manufacturing, suppliers, and purchasing to optimize performance, quality, and cost. Able to gain some hands-on experience with heavy equipment at the Tucson Proving Grounds and/or Decatur, IL manufacturing facility. Growth & impact:
Contribute to high-impact mining applications.

Typical task breakdown:
Design wire harness routings, support detailing, and checking prints. Prepare and present at design reviews. Ensure designs follow Client design guides and best practices. Collaborate with suppliers. Support, cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, Supplier collaboration, etc.

Interaction with team:
Frequent collaboration with team members in Tucson or other offices. Will be collaborating with various other engineers in different functional areas, most of which are also located in the Tucson office.

Team Structure:
Local Tucson team includes around 12 engineers including two team leaders. Offshore resources utilized for most of the drawing detailing work.

Work environment:
Mostly in office (80%+). The Tucson Mining Center (TMC) office was newly constructed and opened a few years ago. Occasional visits to Tucson Proving Grounds (TPG) and Decatur, IL manufacturing facility.

Education & Experience

Years of experience: 8+ yr Degree requirement:
