Position's Contributions to Work Group:

Provides drivetrain design support for Large Mining Trucks, Off-Highway Trucks, and Wheel Tractor Scrappers. Supports current product issue resolution for final drives, differentials, brakes, wheel groups, torque converters, transmissions, and electric drive systems. New product development support for the above mentioned drivetrain products.

Typical task breakdown:

• Support for root cause investigation of field issues, design of solutions, release and implementation of solutions.
• New product concepts, design development, and implementation.
• Current factory issue support, design & process issue investigations, and supplier support.
• Creo Modeling & Drawings for designs. Collaboration with internal and external process partners.
• FMEA, APQP, PPAP Support

Interaction with team:

Member of collaborative design team with world wide design control over associated drivetrain components. Collaboration with on-site teams as well as off-site domestic and international teams.

Work environment:

Member of team providing in person support for Drivetrain product built in Decatur, IL facility. Team also provides off-site support for product built internationally.

Candidate Requirements Education & Experience

Required:
