Environment Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Game Environment Designer to join our team to enhance the iconic arcade game, Crossy Road. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and engaging environments that provide a fun and dynamic experience for players as they navigate through roads, rivers, and various obstacles.

• Environment Design:
  Create diverse and vibrant environments that reflect the whimsical style of crossy road, including roads, rivers, and unique thematic areas.
• Obstacle Integration:
  Design and implement various obstacles and interactive elements that challenge players while maintaining the game's lighthearted tone.
• Character Interaction:
  Collaborate with the character design team to ensure that environments complement the unique characters and their abilities within the game.
• Visual Consistency:
  Maintain a cohesive visual style throughout the game by adhering to established art guidelines and collaborating with artists and animators.
• Player Feedback:
  Analyze player interactions and feedback to refine environmental designs and enhance the overall gameplay experience.

• Experience in game design or environment design, preferably in mobile or arcade games.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and player engagement in casual gaming.
• Proficiency in design tools and software (e.g., Unity, Photoshop, Blender).
• Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills to create engaging and playful environments.
