Job Summary:

Dietitian position available in a clinical outpatient setting within a Level II Trauma center. The role involves providing nutritional assessments, developing and implementing nutrition plans, and participating in interdisciplinary care for adult and geriatric patients. This is an opportunity for a qualified dietitian to contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule:
  
  8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  RD/RDN certification, Illinois state license, minimum 1 year of experience, completion of adult outpatient and clinical nutrition experience, experience with enteral nutrition (tube feedings), Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Nutrition Assessments/Reassessments, and Protein Calorie Malnutrition
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with Refeeding Syndrome, Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE), hospital-based outpatient care, adult and geriatric populations

  Active Illinois license in hand at time of start; local candidates accepted; no radius restrictions

• Additional Information:
  Experience with Cerner charting system preferred; parking permit required at no cost; participation in weekend rotation (no more than 1 weekend every 4 weekends); participating in minimal holiday coverage required. Candidate must complete all compliance modules prior to start, with the first day being a virtual orientation.
