Job Description:

As a Litigation Attorney, you will be an integral part of our dedicated legal team, representing businesses and governmental entities in federal and state courts in litigation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert legal counsel, conduct litigation, and advocate on behalf of our clients. As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

Write pre-filing case summaries under the guidance of the supervising attorney.

Champion depositions and defend them with precision.

Conduct thorough investigations relevant to each case.

Prepare and file essential legal documents such as briefs and motions.

Collaborate closely with fellow attorneys on various legal projects.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing them with timely status reports.

Fulfill any other duties as assigned, contributing to the holistic success of our firm.

What we’re looking for:

A valid Illinois, Iowa or Michigan law license in good standing with the bar required.

Worker's Compensation or Personal Injury experience.

Exceptional professionalism and communication skills.

Proficiency in research and writing.

Recommended experience in litigation.

The ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.

Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.

Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

Proficiency in research, analysis, and problem-solving.

The capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment.
