Large, regional law firm is seeking a skilled and driven Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Chicago office. This attorney will focus on employment-related disputes and counseling matters and will be involved in all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts.
Responsibilities- Manage labor and employment litigation matters, including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other employment-related legal documents
- Represent employers in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and administrative proceedings
- Advise clients on case strategy, risk management, and compliance issues
- Conduct legal research related to employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
- Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois
- 2+ years of labor and employment litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling matters under federal and state employment laws preferred
