The Strategic Supply Chain Project Manager plays a critical role on the Facility Supply Chain Team, leading high‑impact process improvement initiatives across supply chain, logistics, demand planning, and order management. This role partners cross‑functionally to design, implement, and optimize integrated supply chain solutions that improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, define, and implement integrated supply chain process improvements across manufacturing, logistics, demand, and order management functions.
- Build and govern strong internal and external partnerships to explore optimization opportunities and drive best‑in‑class supply chain performance.
- Establish effective linkages, governance models, and best practices with key business partners and internal stakeholders.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend industry benchmarks, metrics, and best practices to develop optimal supply chain solutions.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities for cost reduction, inventory optimization, and improved service levels.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams, influencing stakeholders to achieve project milestones and measurable business outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve complex operational and process challenges using structured problem‑solving methodologies.
- Judgment & Decision Making: Strong capability to evaluate business scenarios, assess risks, and determine optimal courses of action to maximize organizational performance.
- Supply Chain Project Management: Proven skill in planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects to deliver results efficiently and effectively.
- Supply Chain Process Design: Knowledge of designing and optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain processes to improve functionality, cost, and service performance.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and business partners to drive aligned outcomes.
- SAP or MAMM
Experience:
Knowledge or hands‑on experience working with SAP or MAMM systems within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. - Manufacturing or Operations Engineering Background: Prior experience supporting manufacturing operations, production systems, or facility‑level supply chains.
- Lean Manufacturing: Understanding of lean principles and ability to integrate lean methodologies into manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Capacity Planning & Management: Experience using capacity planning tools and practices to align production demand with available resources.
- Change Control (Manufacturing): Knowledge of structured change management and control processes within production environments.
- Influencing & Communication
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
