Decatur, IL – Lead overall operation of the Decatur plant, driving safety, quality, and profitability through strategic leadership and operational excellence.

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall delivery of safe, efficient operations, ensuring the highest quality finished goods, and achieving financial performance targets. This role leads the site across engineering, production, maintenance, cost control, capital planning, and labor relations.

• Develop and sustain a world‑class zero‑harm safety and environmental culture, ensuring continuous improvement through initiatives, compliance, and permitting.
• Partner with Human Resources to execute workforce strategies, recruitment, retention, talent development, and inclusion.
• Drive quality, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, reducing waste, and achieving best‑practice performance.
• Align production plans with commercial demand and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance operating efficiency and reliability.
• Manage operating costs, capital expenditures, and budgeting, including forecasting, budget variance analysis, and asset lifecycle planning.
• Lead cost performance across P&L areas, focusing on EBITDA growth and yield optimization.
• Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders, maintain labor‑management relationships, and negotiate collective bargaining agreements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive chemical process and plant experience, including 5+ years of manufacturing leadership.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills with experience managing large, unionized operations.
• Proven expertise in planning, design, procurement, labor management, scheduling, quality control, shipping, and finance.
• Skilled in root‑cause analysis, financial acumen, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, conflict‑resolution, and multitasking abilities.
