Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily/weekly production schedules and workflow in alignment with customer orders and inventory levels.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules with Operations to accommodate delays and/or supply issues.
- Communicate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory usage, and process performance metrics.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining production planning systems (e.g., ERP/MRP).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Generate and distribute reports on production efficiency, output, and downtime.
- Access Design Prints with Production Packet Instructions to the assembly line.
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment through strong listening and verbal communication across multiple levels within the organization.
Ability to use an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV). Ability to read reports on Customer Orders, Inventory, Production Orders and Bills of Materials. Ability to speak effectively with employees of an organization. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications- 3-5 years (Preferred)
- Experience with MRP system attributes including Master Production Schedule (MPS), Bill of Materials (BOM), Inventory Records.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Intentional self-starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities.
High School Diploma or GED required with proven history of related work experience.
Preferred:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Engineering Technology, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or Business Administration
