The Warehouse Operator is responsible for keeping the warehouse and freezer areas in a safe, sanitary and efficient working order. This role is the last check before product leaves to customers and includes inspecting all pallets and trailers prior to loading, maintaining an accurate inventory database, and verifying blocks on pallets, proper staging, and shipping in the D365 system.
Here’s a day in the life- Warehouse production including hand scanning the staged loads into the D365 system and completing the staging portion of the shipping checklist.
- Staging loads in the warehouse staging area.
- Inspecting the trailer for general cleanliness prior to loading and loading trucks.
- Shipping products in the D365 system and completing the shipping portion of the shipping checklist.
- Inspecting and unloading arriving loads of supplies or product and receiving products into the D365 system.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work in temperatures from
-20 to +90 degrees. - Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
- Must be a team player and interact with staff at all levels of the company.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, swing), weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain reliable attendance onsite.
- Must be capable of becoming proficient in forklift and pallet jack operations.
- Must be computer literate with beginner knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. SharePoint and ERP systems such as D365 are a plus.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Warehouse experience and/or training is preferred.
- Previous inventory control experience is a plus.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, and swing), weekends, and holidays.

This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $22.76.
Working conditionsLaboratory:
Shared workstations including testing equipment and computer terminals. Generally quiet, temperature controlled, well lighted. May include walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and forklift traffic. Requires standing majority of shift, working with chemicals, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces, stooping, bending and crouching and climbing stairs and ladders. Duties may include repetitive motion of hands and lifting up to 35 pounds. Allocation of time:
Standing 50%, Sitting 25%, Walking 10%, Lifting 10%, Climbing 5%.
